Main workshop (TRIZ program for problem solving through creative ways)

Most research finding indicate that the use of proper training programs in developing creative thinking-in an intended way-may lead to achieve their goals in developing students / trainees' ability to think creatively, but the essential problem that most Arab countries suffer from is the scarcity of programs for the development of creative thinking. Nevertheless, "TRIZ" program appeared recently for creative problem solving which is one of the modern programs in the Arab region.

This program based on "TRIZ" theory produced by "Henry Alrchiller" through his deep study of thousands of patents where the study findings indicated that there are forty creative strategies that can be applied in problem solving in the various aspects of human activity.

·              Workshop objectives:

The workshop aims at developing the ability of creative thinking with its different parameters among trainees. Further, to develop their abilities to teach creativity to employees in their work place and to students at their schools and universities.

When training meetings terminate, it is expected to achieve the following objectives:

·              Comprehend stages of problem solving process creatively based on "TRIZ" theory.

·              Employee "TRIZ" theory's principles in developing creativity among employees and students through analyzing curricula and developing relevant training situations.

·              Increase trainees' motivation toward creativity and active interaction, and dealing with problems which are considered currently as a feature of life.

·              Workshop beneficiaries:

·              Workers in the field of patents.

·              Schools' principals, teachers and educational supervisors.

·              Specialists of curricula, teaching techniques and educational advisors (for students).

·              Creativity, its concept, importance and its relation with problems solving.

·              Emersion of "TRIZ" theory, its development and its essential hypotheses.

·              Strategies of creative-innovative-thinking and their role in problem solving creatively.

·              "TRIZ" theory methodology in problem solving creatively.

·              Design instructional situations adapted from study curricula to build up creativity using "TRIZ" theory-based-principles.

·              Workshop period:

·              Two workshops are demanded.

·              Five days, (4) hours per day for each workshop.
